May Mood Board - Quick Monthly Inspiration

Oh May, I’m so excited that you're finally here. With May comes more outside fun. It finally feels warm here in NYC. I have so much more energy (although still not as much as I would like). But I’m starting to feel more like myself again, which is a good sign! There are so many exciting activities and opportunities to travel; May = the beginning of Summer Fridays at most companies here in the city. I'm making a huge effort to stop putting pressure on myself and the people in my life. I’m letting go of a lot of my previous, self-inflicted standards and trying to just be happy with where I currently am in life. More and more each day, I’m realizing how I don’t need to focus on speed. It doesn’t matter the rate at which I accomplish my goals/dreams. I just need to let myself breathe and be happy. That’s why the color for this month’s mood board is yellow- to remind myself to make time for the things that make me happy and say f*** off to the rest. I hope this mood board inspires you to take charge of your happiness instead of letting outside factors control it. I haven’t learned how to totally master this skill quite yet, but with time, I know we both will.

Leave a comment down below letting me know what you’re most excited to experience. We still have a lot of time left this May, so let’s make the most of it. You’re too much of a badass to let this month slip through your fingers. Take some time this weekend to paint, read in the park, write a creative piece, dance, sing, reorganize your closet, do whatever makes you feel fulfilled and fuels you creatively. It's been a while since I've taken some time during the weekend to do something that stimulates my creative side, but that's my focus for this weekend. Until next my love, and as always, thanks for taking a second to read this post. You’re support means more to me than you could ever know.
